A very and rare elegant swiss bracket clock. Sumiswald ca. 1840.

Bracket clock and bracket painted black, gold-plated and decorated with very fine, original and very well preserved "blanc de céruse" flower painting.

Original, intact, and serviced 8-day movement with anchor escapement. Hour and 3/4 hour strikes on two gongs. Alarm with bell.
