A very interesting and rare automatic clock with fluttering butterfly.
Gilted brass and bronze. Paris about 1840.
Two cherubs are playing on the top of the clock. One would like
to catch the butterfly, the other is holding him back.
8 day anchor action, pendulum with thread. Hourly and half hourly
chimes. The mechanism is revised and intact.
