A rare french Bracket Clock and Bracket. Louis XIV, Paris about 1720. The case and socle inlaid with marqueterie in tortoise-shell and brass by Charles-André Boulle, 1642 - 1732. Applications in finest bronzes. Original revised and intact 8-daywork with verge. Rings full hours and half hours. Signature on the backside of the movement: LE BAIGUE PARIS. Height: 95 cm, width of the socle: 36 cm.
