- - - | he oasis town of Bouchara, located in eastern Turkestan, has long been a trading center for the people of the surrounding Carpets made by the surrounding nomads tribe. Unless they can be definitively attributed to a specific tribe, they are referred to as Bouchara carpets. This rug, 175x133cm, was used as a side rug in the tent. With its fine weaving and harmonious, rich pattern structure, it is an elegant example of Turkmen carpet craftsmanship.
